Ophelia VII

Flawless features,
Full coral lips,
Tender eyes have hardened,
Her heart has been abandoned,
She stares into the past,
A seer of woe.
Courtly cards whip in the wind,
Hearts run with blood,
Blanching with betrayal.
Her dress is slightly hoisted,
Golden griffins guard the hem,
A canopy of cloth;
Flowers for the dead of future past,
Flowers to twine the hair,
Flowers to gently embrace,
Petals form a fragrant coffin.
